Macduff Marine Aquarium launches special events for toddlers

Macduff Marine Aquarium is holding a number of special events aimed at toddlers over the coming weeks.  Jiggling jellyfish, weird wolf fish and sneaky sharks are just some of the underwater characters standing guard over a hidden treasure trove in the depths of the visitor attraction.

Little treasure hunters have been challenged to make their way through a watery trail to find the long-lost jewels as part of the Aquarium's "Tots Tuesday" events for pre-school children.

The sessions will include interactive activities, treasure trails and crafts.  A story time puppet show will be a highlight of the sessions, and the Council's library service will provide exciting stories that encourage the enjoyment of books and language at an early age.

The five sessions will run every second Tuesday, starting 22nd January 2013, from 11.00 to 16.00 and include activities based around treasure hunting, underwater colours and pirates.

Further information can be found on the Aquarium's website - www.macduff-aquarium.org.uk, Facebook page or call 01261 833369.
