Top-class beaches retain coveted top rankings

Two of Banffshire's most popular beaches, Banff Links at Inverboyndie and Cullen Bay, have retained their coveted top rankings in the Marine Conservation Society's latest "Good Beach Guide".  Everyone connected with the tourist industry is delighted that the two beaches have maintained their position amongst the UK's cleanest, safest and best beaches.

These two beaches, combined with a string of high-quality beaches right along the Banffshire coast, underline the high praise this coast received recently when it was named by National Geographic as one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world.

Along with Cullen and Inverboyndie, Rosehearty and Fraserburgh beaches both won the top "recommended" rating for 2013.
