Big screen scoop for Banff's new cinema
Banff Cinema is set to come of age with its first screenings of 2014 - featuring the multi-BAFTA nominated blockbuster "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom" (12A) on Monday 27th January (commencing at 7.30 p.m.). Launched late last year as a community project to bring big-screen cinema back to Banff, the initiative has found its feet very quickly and elicited terrific support from local residents. Earlier on the same evening, and aimed at a family audience, Banff Cinema is showing "The Moshi Monster Movie" (PG) - another recent release.
Tickets for both films are available at the Strachan Pharmacy branches at 69 High Street, Banff, and 29 Main Street, Turriff, and at the Harvest Centre, Castle Street, Banff.
