The Coastal Fringe Big Weekend
The Coastal Fringe Big Weekend takes place on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th May 2016 in Banff and Macduff.
A fantastic range of events is on offer to you so why not come for the day or even make a weekend of it on Scotland's Banffshire Coast:
Circus Skills Workshop
Free fun for everyone! Take part in a FREE Circus Skills Workshop at Macduff Marine Aquarium. 11.00am - 3.00pm daily.
Duff House 'Wings' Public Art & Recreation Project
Duff House has been described as the grandest classical country house to be built in 18th century Scotland. William Adam (of the famous architectural and furniture design family) had an even grander plan for additional “wings” but unfortunately these were never built.
This weekend riends of Duff House are re‐creating the layout to give an impression of an even more magnificent House. As part of the Coastal Fringe festival the public can come, for free, and paint scenes they envisage in the windows of the west pavilion on large format boards.
11.00am - 4.00pm daily.
Coastal Fringe at Banff Castle
A colourful and creative mix of stalls with local artists, craft makers and vintage businesses on two floors at Banff Castle, Car Boot stalls, food and activities in the grounds. Sat 28 and Sun 29 May, 10.00am to 4.00pm. Free entry.
